The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 真的还不错，对向来不喜欢如今印度电影（有些老的还可以）抱着找茬儿的心态去看的我来说，竟然觉得十分好看，动作设计的亮点太多了，我们的功夫武侠片和漫威电影都能从这抄作业，BGM的气氛烘托也极好，当之无愧的娱乐大片。至于情节和合理性……what⁉️？需要情节吗？需要合理吗？？？对南印度电影不熟悉，觉得这位导演将来有可能有更大的发展空间，如果像迪士尼这样的大老板注意到他并给他机会的话。3个小时的片长，不太适合一个人看，正确的方式是三五好友小酌消暑的时候观赏，边看边评，线下面对面发送语音弹幕。
而这种歌舞元素让他们的导演在动作和造型设计上面的功力尤其出众 值得借鉴
而且这片很多桥段很“琼瑶”很超级英雄
